Call (912) 483-1213Savannah roofs don't usually die from hail. They die from wind, water and heat. Afternoon thunderstorms roll in off the marsh most summer days, tropical systems brush the coast in the fall, and the humidity never really leaves. NOAA's Storm Events Database lists 390 thunderstorm-wind reports in Chatham County from 2010 through 2025, and tropical storm or hurricane entries on 16 days in that stretch.
That mix shows up the same ways on roof after roof: shingles that lost their seal and lift in gusts, flashing that rusted out at a chimney or wall, attic decking going soft from trapped moisture, and pipe boots baked through. We fix those things, and when a roof is truly done, we replace it the right way.

How it works
Call or send the form.
Tell us what's going on and what part of Savannah you're in. If it's urgent — an active ceiling leak, hail damage from last night, or blown-off ridge caps — say so and we'll move it to the front of the schedule.
We come take a look.
Someone from our crew walks the roof in person, checks the valleys, pipe boots, flashing, and decking, takes photos of what we find, and answers your questions on the spot.
You get a clear price before any work starts.
Written scope, plain numbers, no pressure. We tell you straight when a simple repair is enough, and you decide if and when to move forward.
Why homeowners call us
- We actually answer the phone — or call back the same day.
- We look at the roof in person and show you photos before quoting a real number.
- We tell you when a repair is enough instead of pushing a full roof replacement.
- We protect your yard, AC condenser, driveway, and flowerbeds while we work.
- We haul off every scrap of old shingle and run magnetic nail sweeps before we call the job done.
What the Coast Does to a Savannah Roof
Salt air eats cheap metal. Galvanized drip edge, nails and vent flashing on houses near the river, the marsh and the islands rust far faster than they would inland. On coastal jobs we use aluminum or coated drip edge and stainless or hot-dipped fasteners where it matters.
Humidity is the quiet one. An attic that can't breathe holds moist air against the underside of the deck, and over a few summers the plywood delaminates and the nails rust loose. Before we replace a roof, we look at intake and exhaust venting, because a new roof on a damp attic won't last.
Old Savannah has its own rules. In the Historic Districts, exterior roof work needs Historic Review Board approval on top of a City building permit, and slate, standing-seam and tile roofs are common. We'll tell you up front what your street requires.
